Connecting to Streaming Server via WebDrive for PC
The Streaming Server at UGA will now be using SFTP, Secure File Transfer Protocol, for users to upload and download material off their accounts. UGA hosts the program WebDrive to allow faculty and staff to use for their streaming accounts on PC. (For Mac please use Fugu.) Follow the steps ahead to properly configure your account and files using WebDrive.

Configuring and Connecting to Streaming Server
1. Start the WebDrive application if it is not already running .
Check the WINDOWS System Tray (located next to the clock) to see if the WebDrive icon (
) is located there. If WebDrive is not currently running, the user needs to select
Start-->All Programs->-WebDrive -->WebDrive (Windows XP)
or
Start -->Programs-- >WebDrive -->WebDrive (Windows 2000)
2. Open the Web Drive Session Manager:
3. At the bottom left, click on New Site. In the setup wizard, creat a name for the connection. At the next step when selecting server type, make sure to change WebDav to SFTP (ssh) in the drop-down menu.
4.When asked for the Server URL, type real.cc.uga.edu. Next, put in your username and password used for the streaming server. Finally, you can finish the wizard and connect immediately if you'd like. 
5. To manage the streaming server as if it were a folder in Windows, go to My Computer and under Network Drives, you can find the Streaming server available for browsing. Note: You may have to adjust your firewall to allow WebDrive to connect properly.
